İklim Salatası is a comprehensive awareness platform that encourages active participation in the fight against the climate crisis. It highlights the importance of sustainable living practices and climate-friendly cities.
Together, we’re overcoming the misinformation surrounding the climate crisis. We support young people in accessing scientific and reliable information by learning from other young people, which in turn helps them take action.Neden
Why We’re Here, How We Do It
The climate crisis, one of today’s biggest global problems, directly impacts ecosystems, economies, and social life. Young people and children, who have contributed the least to the climate crisis, are and will continue to be disproportionately affected by it. In this context, the lack of information and the misinformation spread on social media prevent social mobilization among young people in the fight against this problem.
As İklim Salatası, we work with young people to produce scientific and data-driven content to address this information gap and combat misinformation. We provide educational, inspiring, and easy-to-understand video content, graphic designs, and blog posts on digital channels that young people actively use, such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
The İklim Salatası team includes experts like Kenan Dursun, Sevdin Köseoğlu, Türküler Algüz Duransoy, and İbrahim Yeşilbaş, who have worked on various projects to promote sustainability, the climate crisis, and environmental awareness. We also have contributions from young climate activists from different movements.
What We Do?

We reach a wide young audience with videos, graphics, and blog content on platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
With our “Myths vs. Facts” series, we correct common misconceptions about climate change using scientific explanations.
We foster diverse perspectives by conducting interviews and collaborative projects with young climate activists, greenfluencers, and experts from different regions of Turkey.
We introduce young people to sustainable living practices and show them how to take individual action, helping them grow into environmentally conscious individuals.
In the coming period, we aim to increase our content production and variety to expand our reach, and boost our engagement and interaction on our social media channels. We will also strengthen our collaborations with young climate activists and continue to gather surveys and feedback to better understand the needs of our target audience.
İklim Salatası serves as a bridge for young people to become aware of the climate crisis and take action. It’s an important step toward building a more sustainable future.
